Welcome! I’m Clayton Troutman and I’m a composer & musician in Nashville, Tennessee. My music combines classical orchestral soundscapes & modern cinematic textures that would work great in Movies, TV & games. As a student currently studying & working towards a degree in music composition at Belmont University, I enjoy deepening my understanding of musical structure, analyzing iconic film scores, and studying the process of orchestration.

Sunset in Autumn is an original orchestral composition featuring lush chords & pentatonic melodies. It is named in a similar manner to impressionistic paintings because of the musical impression it conveys.

“Journey Through a Lifetime” is my first cinematic orchestral album released October 2023. Taking over a year in the process, this album represents the emotions and feelings a traveler may experience while embarking on a metaphoric journey.
